Last month, we launched the "Best of Ohio" series of surveys, reaching out to Ohio Soccer Moms and Dads across the state. The goal was to recognize and celebrate the outstanding clubs, tournaments, and facilities that make Ohio’s youth soccer scene one of the best in the country. Here’s a look at the winners in various categories, as chosen by parents and supporters who know the game inside out.

Best in Team Spirit

When it comes to fostering a sense of community and team spirit, the Pride Soccer Club in Canal Winchester has truly set the standard. Their dedication to building camaraderie both on and off the field has not gone unnoticed. Following closely behind in this category are Blast FC and Manta United Soccer Club, who have also shown exceptional commitment to cultivating a strong, positive team culture.

Best Tournament Awards

Tournaments are where memories are made, and the BSA Haunted Classic in Dayton has been voted as the top event for players and families alike. Known for its competitive play and spooky fun, this tournament has earned the admiration of many. The Ohio State Cup (US Club Soccer) and The Epic Cup were also highly praised for their excellent awards and HUGE cups...that Epic Cup is pretty epic.

Best Off-Field Experience at a Tournament

The off-field experience is just as important as what happens on the pitch, and the Ohio State Cup (US Club Soccer) takes the crown in this category. The Epic Cup and Party on the Pitch also impressed with their family-friendly atmospheres and engaging activities.

Best Concession Stands

A great soccer complex is about more than just the fields; it's also about the food! The ForeverLawn Sports Complex/Hall of Fame Village in Canton has the best concession stands, offering a variety of tasty options to keep everyone fueled throughout the day. Voice of America and Warren County Sports Park follow closely, serving up delicious snacks and meals that satisfy hungry players and fans alike.

Best Facility Restrooms

Clean and well-maintained restrooms are a must for any soccer facility, and Darree Fields (running water...yes please) takes the top spot in this category. Parents and players alike appreciate the attention to detail here. The ForeverLawn Sports Complex and Voice of America also received high marks for their new, clean and convenient restroom facilities.

Best Field Conditions After Rain

Ohio weather can be unpredictable, but the Ohio Premier Training Facility has proven that it can handle even the heaviest rain. Parents have praised the field conditions here, noting how quickly the fields dry and how well they hold up after a storm. Darree Fields and Voice of America also perform admirably under wet conditions, ensuring games can continue with minimal disruption.

Best Uniforms

Style matters on the soccer field, and Manta United Soccer Club has been voted as having the best uniforms in Ohio. Northwest FC and Club Ohio also stand out with their distinctive and stylish kits.
