It's my BIRTHDAY!!! --> A soccer mom's wish list.
If it's November and I'm not talking about my birthday, then you should come check on me -something's not right!
Later this month I'm going to put out a gift guide with all sorts of gifts for kids, soccer parents, players and coaches including discount codes and Black Friday deals. Today's post is just me putting out into the universe (hint, hint) the things I've had my eye on that I'd like to have in my soccer mom arsenal. These are all items from Amazon, so if you happen to click through one of our links and make a purchase we may get a small commission...so thank you for your support and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME!!
The number one question people ask me is "how do you keep track of everything?" my answer is "not very well". That isn't entirely true, we do a pretty good job but it isn't easy. Our current calendar exists between a giant shared google sheet, TeamSnap and BYGA. I've always said we are too big for a calendar (hence the spread sheet) but if I could try one calendar I would like to try the Skylight Calendar. If you've tried this and you love it (or hate it) let me know!
I always get a pair of shoes around my birthday, usually Vans or Rocket Dog but this year I'm looking at these On Cloud 5 Sneakers. I see moms with these all of the time, and I think now is the time for me to try them out. What do you think?
38 was skinny jeans, 39 I took on baggy jeans, 40 was ripped jeans (you're right, I'm still wearing these), 41 was high waisted & wide legged for 42 I'm completely committed to these The Gym People tapered athletic pants. Maybe they will inspire me to go to the gym (probably not).
I was late to the Stanley scene, and I now understand the hype. The only thing that could make my Stanley game better would be these ice molds and a bigger Stanley...I need to stay hydrated.
I need a honcho poncho, I don't care how I look. I'm tired of being cold. I probably need these battery powered hand warmers too....and these galoshes.
Last but certainly not least is my signature backpack. For years I had a red backpack - my kids would look out across the fields and just look for my red bag. When I stopped managing teams/clubs I switched to purple. I've been using a a green bag most recently but I'm thinking I should go back to red. What do you guys think of this bag?
